Brecon Beacons

the view from Pen Y Fan

I love hiking. I’ve always loved the outdoors (okay, terrified of anything with more than 4 legs, but for the most part…). After moving to the UK and discovering the Scottish Highlands (most amazing part of the country!), doing Ben Nevis and Glencoe munros, I’ve become hooked on the not-too-difficult climbs this land has to offer. For my recent second trip to Wales, we hit the Brecon Beacons and climbed the highest peak in south Wales and Southern England, Pen y Fan. Which admittedly isn’t saying much as it is only 886 feet, but it was beautiful. I never get tired of these kinds of views, or walking through pine trees. (Love love love pine trees. Best smell in the world!).

Waterfalls are pretty amazing, too.
